Just Keep Trying

Today I read Psalms 33 - 37 all of which talk about the glory of God and how wonderful He is in various ways.  Several things stood out to me in chapter 37, however the phrase that really caught my eye was when David said that a little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of the wicked.  It reminds me of the story of the widows mite.  Our intention is everything.  We can do all manner of righteous deeds but if we do it for the wrong reasons, it doesn't do us any good.  This is a concept we have talked about before and is not new.  But as the Savior has taught us, repetition is the key to learning and if we are going to become better men and women than we are today, we have to repeat those righteous actions over and over again.  It is very rare that we will get it right the first time.  But the Lord will always be there to lift us up and to help us become better.  All we have to do is keep trying.  Until tomorrow.
