People Want To Know It's Ok to Sin

Today I read Hosea 2 where the Lord tells Hosea of the abominations of the Israelites and His people.  You would think, that if you were an Israelite, that perhaps there is something to all these various people who are coming around and saying the exact same thing.  I mean it's one thing to have one person come around and say that they are wicked and need to repent or the Lord will destroy you, but to have dozens of men saying the exact same thing?  The idea is out of the mouth of two or three witnesses right?  I just don't understand why people would not listen.  Actually I do understand.  When people are in sin and they are happy with being in sin, they don't want to be told that they are wrong.  All you have to do is look at today's culture especially when it comes to homosexuality.  People only want to be told they can do whatever they want and God is ok with it, which of course is a lie.  But it is what they want to hear.  For some reason, even in sin, we want the approval of others.  People sure can be funny at times.  Until tomorrow.
